About StretchRMD

The person behind the work.

Movement has always been at the center of the story.

Rachel Dehoyos is the owner and founder of StretchRMD, a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Certified Stretch Therapist based in Temecula, California.

Her relationship with movement began at 13, when she started dancing and fell in love with ballet. What began as passion quickly became pursuit. Rachel trained with the goal of becoming a professional ballet dancer. At 18, a serious injury changed the trajectory of that dream. Rather than step away from movement entirely, she stepped toward it from a different angle. She began her career as a personal trainer, driven by a desire to help other athletes pursue their goals with the guidance, education, and injury prevention strategies she wished she had been given.

That career path led her deeper into the science of how the body moves. She became a Corrective Exercise Specialist and began studying kinesiology, not just as a professional pursuit, but as a personal one. Rachel has lived with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, autoimmune conditions, and chronic pain her entire life. That lived experience has shaped everything about how she works. She understands hypermobility, compensatory movement patterns, and the kind of pain that becomes background noise, not from a textbook, but from inside her own body. It has made her a more precise, more empathetic, and more effective practitioner.

The work today

Accessible, results-driven care that comes to the client.

StretchRMD was built on a simple belief: that accessible, results-driven care should come to the people who need it. The mobile model was intentional, designed to remove barriers and meet clients exactly where they are, in the environment where they actually live and recover. Rachel has worked with dancers, runners, strength athletes, post-surgical clients, seniors, and everyone in between. Helping people reclaim how their body moves is the work.

When she is not with clients, Rachel is hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, or connecting with other specialized practitioners to continue expanding her techniques and scope of knowledge. Her conviction is straightforward: every person deserves full access and freedom within their own body.
